Summary0001778: Cannot login
DescriptionI have tried the build #1296. I used a lot of versions (mainly 2.0.3) and could not login the server. I see the server list but when I click to see my char list, it hangs a bit and then disconnects saying "The client could not attach to tha game server. It must have been taken down..." I have tried a fresh install of script pack and sphere executable but it still does not work. The only thing I changed is the port in the sphere.ini (from 2593 to 2595). Old nightly build still allows me to login.

The sphere is running in a virtual ubuntu machine with a different local ip address when testing.

Note that on the startup sphere says monitoring ip is 127.0.1.1 altough it is 127.0.0.1, also it is written as 127.0.0.1 in sphere.ini too.

When I change the ip under [SERVERS] part it does not connect at all. Changing the ip under [SPHERE] looks like doesn't have any effect at all.

Just tested, does not occur in windows version.

And another friend tried to login from a remote computer to the linux, same problem.

More importantly, windows version finds all the local ip addresses that I have (more than one if I use multiple connections (wlan+lan)). Where as ubuntu in VM says my local ip is 127.0.1.1. I do not know if it is because of VM but just fyi.

You can close the thread, it is about some ip settings in .ini file, I found the problem.
