Summary0002059: Cannot disable networkthread
DescriptionContrary to what is stated in .ini for the newest nightly builds, setting NetworkThreads to 0 does not disable the network thread. You can still see it by using the thread command in the console. Network threads are unstable and this has the made the build unusable.
Steps To ReproduceRun the latest nightly Sphere with any settings and log in with a client not on the same machine as the server. Given time the error will occur and the server will crash. Running around Skara Brae seems particularly likely to cause this crash quickly for testing purposes.

I am.

I've tried it on, off, I've literally tried every combination of network settings. Besides the issue is as I said, networkthread is not disable-able when set to be so. So even if it was working, the .ini isn't behaving as documented.

Actually the NetworkThread settings don't work at all. No matter what I set
NetworkThreadPriority and NetworkThreads to, I get one network thread at 255 priority.

Ahhh, sweet resolution. I really hope this fixes my crashing. I got the .ini to register the darn things. I had to move them up to right below the initial lines defining the server. Something between there and their normal place in the .ini was screwing it up. I don't know what since I'm not getting any errors about bad .ini lines and everything I use was at least at one point a valid def.

I do have the .ini in question if any one wants to decipher this further but right now I'm pleased to have it working and understand why it wasn't.

Try logging the ini settings and show us the result.

For full disabling this options you need to comment or delete this lines. :)

With latest nightly build, tested with both sphere.ini provided with no errors... can I get confirmation on this?

Must work ok since no one can confirm
